Rental License Application, Inspections, & Density Map

Rental Application
Rental Density Information:
Section 150.037 Subd. L limits single-family rental properties to 10% per block in an R1 Zoning District. Properties in blocks that have met or exceed the permitted number of rentals can obtain a temporary license, limited to two years if the owner uses a property management firm licensed with the MN Commerce Department. The rental density map shows blocks with and without rental licenses available in the R1 Zoning Districts. The map is updated after each City Council meeting to show up to date information. Please contact 651-552-4137 or for questions on the map or how to apply for a rental license.
